REVIEW:
I was looking for a good adhesive to use in my dorm room. It had to be extra sticky because the walls are all coated with non-stick paint!
While this tape failed to stick to our super-slippery walls, it was great in adhering to everything else, and I truly felt like a 21st Century MacGyver with this clear and futuristic duct tape.

PROS:
Clear, Very Sticky, Shearing is VERY easy, Goes wherever you need normal duct tape without the ugly gray lines!

CONS:
Wasn't able to adhere to my college dorm room's walls!, Kind of smelled funny

SUMMARY:
Clear duct tape is definitely the future of duct tape. It is easy to rip off and use, sticky enough for almost every task, and won't look terribly out of place like normal duct tape does!

"Works."

I used this instead of my roll of gray duct tape. While it is less obvious than the gray, it also does not appear to adhere as well in indirect heat (and that can be a factor in Arizona). But, it is great indoors...I recommend it for indoors use!

"Worked great, and didn't leak in the wind and rain."
I used some of this stuff to attach a sheet of lexan as an emergency window repair after a rock broke a window in my RV while I was on a longish trip. It worked great, and held up through 600 miles in the rain (not to mention the wind from 60 MPH on the freeway and the storm). Didn't leak a drop, and the repair wasn't obvious at all. I like it!!!

"One of the best things ever, made better"
Everyone knows how useful a roll of duct tape is. But did you ever think how much more useful it would be if it didn't look so lousy? (I wish I had! Doh!)

They've had different color duct tape for a while - the white was handy for a lot of things. But that doesn't quite do it, and they don't make every color, and I'm not going to buy every color!

But the clear tape is almost like having a roll of every color - since it (somewhat) blends into whatever you use it for. So go ahead and use it on your running shoes, your childrens' books (to repair the spine or stick down the popups again), and so many other new uses.

I can't vouch that it lasts as long outside as they claim it does (6x longer). And it is expensive - this is just 20 yards. So as mentioned, when you're taping up ducts in the basement, you're still probably going to want to use silver duct tape.

The Amazon description above is pretty accurate and useful, if you want more info. By the way, to find the end ... just run your fingernail around the roll, you can feel the end. The tape is thick enough that works well enough.

For a few bucks, everyone should have a roll of this at home, you'll find a hundred ways to use it. Maybe not on ducts. Or ducks. But you'll use it.

"Duct tape you don't see!", Up until I saw the listing for this item I had no idea transparent duct tape existed and I just had to have it! I used it to seal the area around an indoor window AC unit. It works just like regular duct tape but I didn't have to have my indoor window covered by tacky looking gray duct tape! It's not even visible from across the room unless you are really looking for it or know it's there. Up close it looks just like little white dashes but with plenty of visibility so again you'd have to know it's there to notice. It works great because now my AC does not turn on and off as much anymore as I have sealed up the little tiny cracks and spaces left around the window with it and space between the rear and front window that lifts, possibly wasting less energy and keeping the cold air inside the room. I also suspect insects were sneaking in through the ultra tiny spaces around the window where the unit was placed. If you need transparent or any duct tape this is great!

"Even a Professional", I wanted something with a more professional look than silver/other-colored Duck Tape, but it had to be relatively professional looking as well. Ended up finding a roll of this at a local store, but now they've quit stocking it. Therefore, I went lookingIt is essential in a medical office: mends charts beautifully and wears like iron. "Close To Transparent?", I purchased this duct tape to seal up the gap in my bedroom window, due to installing a portable air conditioner. I didn't want to have to take out the window adapter in the Winter, because it took so long to get it into my window in the first place.

So, I had to think of a way to keep out as much air as possible. You would think buying a $400 room air conditioner, that it would come with everything you need, but it doesn't. So, I decided that maybe duct tape would work. A friend of mine told me, when in doubt use duct tape. This was my FIRST duct tape purchase!

I purchased this due to the reviews, and wanting duct tape that was as invisible as possible. I guess considering the myriad of colors duct tape now comes in, this duct tape is probably as invisible as it gets, but it isn't totally invisible, or as invisible as I would like it to be.

To me, seeing tape, period, is kind of tacky. It is alittle hard to start the roll, and the tape is really sticky. I found it hard to cut. I put a flag, you know, like a note tab, to hold the tape, so I won't need to find where the roll starts again.

I still have alot of the tape left. It is kind of pricey, at $7.30 a roll, but I wanted to get a well known brand, and as invisible duct tape as I could, so I guess that costs more. Iam hoping this tape is good for weather related conditions, such as heat and cold. I guess I will have to see! As this is something I will rarely purchase, I think it was worth the price I paid.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Works. And it's clear.", It seemed to disappear quickly though. I'm not sure if it's shorter than other rolls.

"Switch to this and never go back!", This is incredible stuff.
It has so much going for it:
1. It is duct tape. you all know what that means it can do.
2. Good quality adhesive. Some tapes have cheap, lousy adhesive, or stuff that will never come off (gooey). This is very strong, but comes off clean.
3. Clear! Can be used on the outside of things, so instead of using rolls to do surface to surface tapes, you can just run along the edge. Also helps if used as wart remover.
4. Long lasting outside, due to new formula.
5. tears well. Some cheaper stuff can't be torn easily, this is very nice.
6. Self sticking has been reduced; can acutally be salvaged from a self curl now.

Cons:
1. Quite expensive. I use two rolls, one this and one gray, then trade them off when clear is needed or not.
